Fortnite Storytelling Episode 8

Real Life Hero touched down near the green cabin by the river. Seeing the motor boat floating next to the deck made his heart race.

He roamed around for guns. He found three, some ammo and two orange fish. Not great but at least he was armed when he spotted the purple creature just across from him on the other side of the river.

Real Life Hero shot at it.

The creature built a brick bridge and ran over the river to the other side and sprinted away.

Real Life Hero jumped in the boat and started firing missiles at it. He got a couple of hits before the creature managed to get away. Later, he thought. He jogged to the red house and filled up with goodies. Just outside, on the green hill, he ate blue mushrooms and multicolored eggs which gave him a boost.

He jogged farther towards the city. Here he spotted a tank. A strange sensation took over his body. He fled.

He slid down the hill and jogged to the yellow house in search for more ammo and gold. You could never have too much ammo. Or gold.

Outside, he checked his map. The storm was closing in. He climbed up the tiled roof to look for other humans. Nothing. He built a ladder and jumped on the treetop. The leaves couldn’t hold his weight and he fell, spraining his ankle. Well that was stupid. He used the green spray to heal it.

When he was back in full health, he moved farther in the safe zone. He reached a spot full of tall grass. He hid here and scouted the area. A tall structure stood in the river. Real Life Hero used the gun with the thermal scope to look for humans. He spotted one, aimed and fired. He missed. The human didn’t spot him but he jumped up and down in the water making it difficult to get a good shot in. Then he vanished.

A bit later, another human spotted him and started shooting. Real Life Hero stood at a good spot and fired. He struggled a bit with his shots but he got him. The opponent was eliminated.

But he had to run. The storm was coming. He slid down the water and swam across the river. More structures stood farther ahead. He checked out the area.

He moved step by step, hiding behind the walls. No one. He looked up at the structure. Nothing. He looked again. Still nothing. He looked a third time and now a figure in a purple dress stood on top of the wooden structure, looking at him.

Real Life Hero pulled the trigger. He got him but he too got injured. With just one shot he lost half his life. He ran towards the building and switched guns.

Too late. The weird blue-haired creature shot him in the head. He was dead.

Until tomorrow.
