Fortnite Storytelling Episode 4

Real Life Hero was on a mission. He jumped and followed the blue light. He landed on the mountain. The thin layer of snow crunched under his feet. Where was the blue light? He jumped off the edge of the mountain.

Enormous spider webs launched him in the air, and from side to side. He landed on the other side of the mountain and jumped from there. He grabbed whatever gun he could find on his way but there was no blue light anywhere in sight.

He searched the bridge. He found nothing but guns and bullets. He searched one last time at sea level and then built a bridge to reach the top. Up there he met Agent Jones. He could hire him but decided against it. He didn’t even know who he was fighting against on this mad land.

Real Life Hero was at ease not having being shot at for so long, so he took his time jogging around looking for better guns and more ammo. Unaware of time, the storm caught up with him. He sprinted to the edge of the mountain and slid down the powdered hill.

He could smell the gasoline from up high. He jogged to the car parked at the gas station and jumped in just as the storm made him feel out of breath.

A loud, fast beat started playing as soon as he hit the gas pedal. He was out of the storm. He sped on the road but with the storm closing in behind him he swerved and took the shortcut through the mountain.

Black-leather suited guards patrolled the area around the ship just like he remembered. He sped through the crater. The guard fired at him. Real Life Hero sped away, crashing into a tree.

At least he was safe.

He got out of the car and swam towards the boats. He was in the city. A costumed creature spotted him and started shooting. Real Life Hero got out his revolver and started shooting from up close.

The creature jumped up like a locust.

Real Life Hero landed a couple of shots, but with only one good shot the creature managed to knock the breath out of him.

Real Life Hero built some cover and ran. He sprinted without looking back and hid in a steel structure some other poor soul had built. He bandaged himself back to health, managing to remain calm despite the creature shooting and trying to break in.

The structure held up and Real Life Hero fled the scene. He built a bridge to quickly go up the mountain. He was feeling good. He had escaped from death’s grip twice. Soon though, he spotted two gun-toting humans. He killed one of them with his rifle while keeping at a safe distance but the other one got away.

Real Life Hero sprinted to the scene to catch him but a sniper was on to him. He avoided the first shot. He managed to shoot and kill another human at the scene, but the sniper was skillful. He got two shots in and Real Life Hero sought cover. A couple more bandages and he was good to go.

The sniper was still there. Real Life Hero ran towards him and built some cover. But the bullets were strong. It only took two of them to knock down the brick wall. Then came the third shot. Real Life Hero was eliminated.

Until tomorrow.
