Fortnite Storytelling Episode 3

It was dark again. This time Real Life Hero remembered everything even before he opened his eyes. He picked himself up, thanked the bus driver and jumped.

He landed on top of a building, grabbed the first gun he saw and started smashing the roof with his pink hammer. He alternated between his right and left arm to get the job done faster and without overburdening his gun-holding hand.

He fell through the broken bricks. The place smelled of gasoline, but he couldn’t hear anyone running around so he moved to grab another gun and then went into the store. Not much to get in there but he picked up a few coconuts for later.

There were even more bullets in the building next door. He liked bullets. He never knew how many he was going to need. That damn shark sure needed a lot to be stopped. Then came the warning sound. The storm was coming. He had about three minutes to move away and 85 people wanting to kill him.

Real Life Hero sprinted towards the ship, away from the storm. He heard a man’s voice first, then the shooting. Guards. There were three of them. But they weren’t very good shots, were they? His health was still full. He kneeled and fired at the nearest guard.

The shots weren’t landing.

He felt a sharp stinging in his arm. He was shot. It hurt but he was still standing. He ran a bit farther away and built some cover. It was not enough. One shot. That’s all it took. One shot and he was gone.

Until tomorrow.
