Fortnite Storytelling Episode 26

Real Life Hero swirled inside a circle of oil, corn seeds popping all around him as he fell from the bus. He aimed for the white roof at the edge of the cliff. Once inside the house he let go of his fear by smashing the brick walls and collecting all the guns he could find.

Out on the balcony he looked at the endless sea. It was nice to stay here but the storm was looming. He jumped down to the water and swam at the beach. He grabbed a few more guns and ammo and headed towards the road.

He was standing inside the black, hot dirt of a crater when he saw the tank. A car with its engine on fire lay at the edge of the road. Real Life Hero ran towards it, checking with his rifle scope to see if there was anyone inside.

He could hear the tank now. He sprinted away up the hill.

That was close, he thought.

He moved farther into the island.

Finally he was in the safe zone. He gained higher ground and scouted the area. Where was everyone?

He ran some more, deep into the island.

Up another hill he spotted his first enemy. The enemy was running amidst the big twisting trees and the dirt-brown circular buildings.

He managed to take a few good shots despite the long distance between them before the enemy fired back.

The hits he took left a burning sensation on his skin. His strength was almost gone. He fired again.

Real Life Hero was out of bullets. He reloaded his gun as the enemy reached the wooden bridge on his left.

The enemy was closer now. Real Life Hero took a few more shots.

The enemy vanished into a blue light, his guns abandoned on the bridge. He looted a couple of areas he stumbled upon before reaching the ruins. Here the atmosphere was heavy. Fog blurred his vision as his heart beat harder with every gunshot he heard. Real Life Hero hid in a bush and watched two enemies shooting at each other.

When one of the shooters died, he approached. He waited till the enemy was still, drinking from a small bottle of blue liquid and took his first shot. Then a couple more shots. The enemy was dead before he could even shoot back at him.

Real Life Hero sat floating in the pond, yellow fish glaring back at him as he watched the storm approach. The safe zone was even smaller now. Where were the other shooters? When no one appeared he moved farther into the safe zone.

He went up a hill and noticed light coming off a shrub. That sound, it must be a lightsaber, he thought. Without seeing an enemy he began shooting at the shrub. He walked closer and saw a green light. He fired again but he wasn’t landing any hits. He moved even closer.

A caped enemy with a green lightsaber jumped at him, hitting him with his sword. Real Life Hero backed away, shooting with his SMG.

The enemy was dead but not before landing a good hit, taking half of Real Life’s Hero life away.

Real Life Hero used a med kit to bandage himself back to full health and moved out. Farther inside the safe zone, he built a small wooden fortress to scout the area from relative safety. He couldn’t see any one and he couldn’t stay here for much longer, the storm was closing in.

He sprinted away just as the storm warning sounded. He swam across the river and built another little fortress at the other side. He was inside the tiny patch of land that was safe from the storm but where was the enemy?

He was looking away past the river at the open green field when he heard a whooshing sound. He turned to see fire spreading on his left and the enemy standing tall on the sand hill behind him.

He jumped down and away from his burning fortress and ran up the hill, shooting. He was hit first. He managed a few good shots but then a second bullet caught him. He was dead.

Until tomorrow.
