Real Life Hero flew towards the snowed field of the Logjam Lumberyard. He grabbed a rifle the second he landed. Next he searched an ammo box. He was armed with 45 bullets when he heard an enemy smashing a cabin a few meters away.
He followed the sound. An ethereal, blue-transparent figure with short white hair appeared when he looked through the naked doorframe. Real Life Hero aimed his rifle at it and fired. The ethereal figure died and Real Life Hero moved farther into the lumberyard. He found more guns and a mythic find, a sword he had never seen before. It was Obi-Wan’s Lightsaber.
Fully armed he swam across to the other side and ran farther into the island before the storm could catch up with him. Running in the snow with the lightsaber in hand he saw an enemy across the road.
Real Life Hero hid in the big green shrub a few meters away from the road. He picked up his heavy sniper rifle and looked through the scope. What he saw was out of this world. The enemy was a blue-bodied, big-headed alien wearing yellow shorts. He took a shot.
He missed.
The blue alien aimed his gun in his direction but hadn’t spotted him. Not yet.
Real Life Hero tracked the alien as he moved non-stop. When the alien figured out he must be hiding in the shrub, he started walking towards it.
Real Life Hero took a nice shot. Like a skilled weapons expert he switched to a rifle and started shooting at the hurt alien. After a few shots the alien was dead. Real Life Hero picked up the alien’s gold and drank a big jar of blue liquid to become stronger. This was the usual loot. But as he turned to leave, Real Life Hero noticed another mythic gun he had never seen. It was an E-11 Blaster Rifle and when he picked it up he saw that it had infinite bullets. Sweet, he thought. Now he could move on feeling not just stronger but chirpier too.
He went up a steep hill then ran through a green valley to reach the Happy Camper area. Here he saw an enemy just outside the walls of the camp. He fired at him. The Blaster rifle was strong, two or three hits with it and the enemy was down.
He moved ahead, barely avoiding the storm. He smashed a tower’s steel foundation using some fancy moves with his lightsaber. It felt good in his hands, this sword. But he had no more time for play. He reached the edge of the hill and looked at the city below.
Buildings blasted into ruins and roads bombed into craters littered the area, fire sparks still dancing in the air. Real Life Hero sprinted through the destroyed town and moved to the next one. Fog engulfed the air as he sprinted across the bridge, past the cactus and among the desert rocks.
He was on the edge of the safe zone when he spotted an enemy. He used his striker burst rifle to shoot him, hitting him twice. As the enemy got away he built a staircase to get on higher ground. He ran up the stairs and scouted the area.
He spotted an enemy on the building across from him. He aimed and fired. He hit him a couple of times before the enemy jumped back behind a wall, disappearing from sight. Real Life Hero moved to the other side. Here he saw a blue banana-man. He shot him, hitting him in the arm. He reloaded his gun. When he looked again through his scope he saw banana-man taking a sniper hit. He was dead.
Real Life Hero looked for the sniper. He saw the rocket coming straight at him through his rifle scope. All his strength was gone, but he was still in good health. He ran away to the other side and jumped off the rock. Two bullets flew past his head, missing him by an inch.
With the storm behind him and a sniper shooter on his tail, Real Life Hero sprinted away as fast as he could. Across the road he saw an enemy hiding behind a boulder. Real Life Hero ran towards the enemy and took fire. He fired back. He jumped up and down to avoid getting hit, minimizing his own shooting accuracy. His evasive movements were not enough to save him. He was dead.
Until tomorrow.
