Fortnite Storytelling Episode 20

Real Life Hero headed for the desert. Midway in his descent he saw two skydivers having the same desire for sand so he turned and lowered his sentinel on the greenery below by the edge of the river.

A small cabin sat alone away from the clustered trees. Real Life Hero landed on the outside deck and walked inside. Nothing but a can of fuel and a metal drum full of blue liquid. He attacked the drum with his sword to get a hit of strength and ran away in search of a gun.

He was sprinting towards the trees when he saw fireflies buzzing around on the small green hill. He trapped a few of the fire devils in a jar and moved to the next small hill where he saw a weather-battered red couch. Two green pillows sat on each side but no guns. When he turned he saw a pistol lying on the grass a bit farther ahead.

Real Life Hero ran and grabbed the gun. That’s better, he thought. He ate a couple of blue mushrooms he found in this weapon-stingy patch of land and moved on. Not a few steps away, he spotted a white chicken. He went after it.

Whatever possessed him at this moment was gone. Not chasing that around, he thought and smashed the firefly jar on the ground. The fire spread like a disease, burning the land and all the trees. Fireballs exploded like little meteors in all directions, contaminating the area.

The chicken got away alive.

Real Life Hero backed away from the fire-infected area and ran after the lucky chicken. He tried to grab it and he tried to hit it with his sword whenever he got close, but no cigar.

He turned around and let the chicken live. The area was still burning. He stopped for a moment and watched the fire. The trees burned bright before exploding into nothing but a dark patch of land.

When he was done fire-gazing Real Life Hero explored the nearby burned ruins. Here he found guns, ammo and explosives.

He placed explosives on the back tire of an abandoned truck and on two command posts. Then he got up the small hill to the side and pressed the detonator. Three moderate explosions one after the other sounded, smashing everything into pieces. Everything was gone but the truck.

Real Life Hero collected a few more goodies from the area and was about to leave when he heard footsteps. He turned and saw a man dressed in black hopping into the back of the unexploded truck.

He fired. He lost. He died.

Until tomorrow.
