Real Life Hero glided along the river and landed on the rooftop of the mansion lying on the green field below. He quickly opened a chest and grabbed everything from inside. With his sword he broke through the wood under his feet and fell on the first floor.
Here he grabbed a shotgun. Hearing footsteps outside, he planted himself on top of the stairs. On his knees and with his gun drawn, he waited. First he saw the yellow baseball cap the sword-wielding enemy was wearing. He fired and hit the wall behind as the shooter ran up the stairs. He fired another shot and then one more. He was dead.
Real Life Hero picked up a light machine gun he’d never used before and searched the rest of the house. Outside, he sprinted up the hill to search another shining chest. A heavy sniper rifle and a rift-to-go globe lay within. He hadn’t used either and he already liked the guns in his possession. What should he do?
He exchanged the anvil rocket launcher for the rift-to-go and without wasting time he shook it to test it out. Real life Hero traveled through the rift and started skydiving from far above until his sentinel was deployed. Good to know, he thought and picked up the heavy sniper rifle.
It was getting darker now. He sprinted farther into the safe zone. He swam across the river and foraged blue mushrooms to increase his strength. He saw that someone had dropped a crown nearby and approached, laying low as he got closer up the hill. He looked around. No crown, no shooter and no loot.
He was eating some more mushrooms when he heard a car revving. It sounded far from his position but suddenly a yellow taxi appeared from the hill, coming straight at him. Real Life Hero started shooting at the car. The machine gun worked nicely, he thought.
He chased after the car. Smoke spiraled out of the engine and the driver jumped out. He tried to run away but Real Life Hero fired at him. The machine gun wasn’t very accurate or maybe it was his skill but all it took was two shots and the driver was dead.
He had the crown now but also another good gun option, an epic stinger SMG. Should he exchange it with another of his guns? It was a tough choice. He exchanged his shotgun with it and moved out towards the city in the valley.
He built some stairs to get to the roof of a building and looked around the area. A tank was moving on the other edge of the city. Real Life Hero spotted two guards with his heavy sniper rifle. He aimed and took the first shot. Then another shot. They didn’t spot him but it seemed futile to go after them. He looked for a good shot at the tank cannon operator but when he couldn’t find it he bolted out of here.
Just below he found a jetpack. He’d never used one of these before. He picked it up and headed out. He tried to take a shortcut by building a staircase up the mountain but he had trouble with it. He wasn’t doing much better with the jetpack either. Then the shot came. The bullet flew past him. A sniper was unto him. He could be anywhere, far and near. Real Life Hero sprinted away, around the mountain and up the hill to safety.
He slid down the slope and entered another city. He watched as the tank rolled away from the street just as the storm warning sounded. He went through the city like a rat chased out of a cheese factory, running as fast as he could, leaving all the loot behind. Well, almost all the loot. He picked up some ammo that was lying around without straying too much from his route.
He climbed over buildings and headed towards the water. He stopped and struggled with the idea of letting go of one of his guns to pick up a burst rifle, a long range gun. As he hesitated hovering over the gun someone shot at him.
Just what he needed, he thought. Without a moment’s hesitation he grabbed the burst rifle and turned around. The shooter sidestepped into the water. Real life Hero aimed and fired. He missed a few shots as the shooter jumped in and out of the water, but two bullets hit. The shooter was dead in the water.
Real Life Hero swam towards the loot the shooter had left behind. He wanted to exchange his SMG with the drum shotgun he found floating on the sea surface but he heard shots fired. He switched his beloved burst rifle with the shotgun instead, swimming away, his heart racing.
His eyes stung from the saltwater but he managed to get a quick look at the shooter standing by the water. Real Life Hero swam a bit farther away and turned around just as the shooter jumped in the water as well. He switched to his machine gun and started shooting at the floating head ahead of him.
The shooter built a cover in the water but out of nowhere Real Life Hero felt a stabbing pain. He looked around. A wolf was in the water, biting him and chipping away at his strength with his sharp teeth. Real Life Hero swirled around, shooting as the storm breathed down his neck. He killed the wolf and swam towards the cover in the water. He caught a glimpse of the shooter a bit farther away, waiting. He swam closer and shot at him. The shooter was dead after a couple of shots.
Real Life Hero turned around. The storm hit him like a wave of electricity. He swam away, jumping and up and down to go as fast as he could. He rolled onto land and used the jetpack to fly away from the storm. He gained height and landed on water, avoiding an injury. He was out of the storm but not out of the woods yet.
He sprinted away and slid down a hill receiving more shots. He looked around and spotted the shooter by the edge of the water. He took out his machine gun and fired. He took a couple of shots but still strong shot dead the shooter. He picked up some ammo from the fallen enemy and replenished his health with the med-midst from his arsenal.
Farther ahead, near the red bridge, he spotted a spider’s web. He gained height by jumping on it and used his jetpack to get on top of the mountain and close to the safe zone. He looked around the area and spotted a shooter in the town ahead. He ran after him.
He searched around, keeping low as distant shots filled the air. He saw one of the shooters running down the small hill and fired at him, missing. He approached and looked for him using a couple of big rocks as cover.
Real Life Hero could hear someone moving nearby but couldn’t see anyone. He felt safe here at the edge of the safe zone with the big rocks covering his back. A sitting duck, he thought as the bullet hit him in the head. A sniper shot. He was dead.
Until tomorrow.
