Real Life Hero landed on top of a low building. He grabbed a gun and smashed the roof with his sword.
He could hear shooting all around him. He jumped down the broken roof and searched the enclosed space for more guns.
More shots sounded, then footsteps. He waited away from the doors with his gun drawn. The doors opened and a black-dressed figure, his face hidden by a hood, entered the room.
Real Life Hero shot him dead.
He could hear more footsteps outside. He waited. The unknown shooter tried to break through the wall. No luck. Was he coming through the door next?
Yes. He managed to fire a bad shot before Real Life Hero started shooting with his shotgun. Another one was dead.
Real Life Hero moved farther into the island collecting guns and ammo along the way until he spotted the next shooter. It was in the town, walking around the saloon next to the gas station.
Real Life Hero spotted the shooter with the pointy ears standing between a cactus and an old blue truck under the tall red-desert rocks. The gasoline smell traveled along with the air, electrifying the atmosphere all around.
He fired. The shooter built cover after taking the first shot and ran away. Real Life Hero ran after him. He managed a few good shots as he trailed behind him but then the hills made it difficult to aim his rifle.
Real Life Hero gained some height by climbing up the desert rocks. From here he aimed and shot the shooter down. The city was damaged. Cars sat abandoned with their engines on fire and gold, guns and all kinds of loot from the fallen littered the streets. Real Life Hero spotted another shooter into a fight farther out. He aimed with his rifle and took several shots. The shooter was dead.
Real Life Hero spotted a couple more shooters. He launched a rocket at one of them and aimed a couple of shots with his rifle. The bullets made contact but the hits were not enough to eliminate the target.
Real Life Hero moved out. The storm caught up with him as he reached another gas station. He sprinted as fast as he could to avoid being trapped into the storm. He collected some berries he found on the hill on his way to the safe zone and prepared for another fight.
He followed the sound of the shooting, moving along the perimeter of the safe zone. That’s where he heard the truck. He fired a rocket at it as the black truck crossed the river but it was too late. The driver was already swimming away when he pulled the trigger.
Real Life Hero moved inside the safe zone to a high spot and hid in the tall grass. From here he could scout a large area of the safe zone and spot more shooters from a distance. He looked through his rifle scope.
He spotted a slim figure but couldn’t take a good shot as the shooter moved about, jumping up and down without pause. He moved to a different position. As he walked to the edge of the hill he heard footsteps behind him. He turned and fired a couple of blind shots at the tall grass. Then he switched to a shotgun and ran towards the grass, shooting. The cartoon-looking character hiding in the grass was dead after only a few shots at close range.
Thunders rolled as the safe zone shrank and the storm would soon close in on him. He slid down the hill and sprinted to the smaller hill inside the safe zone. Another shooter had built cover here, leaving the tall grass to cover his back.
Big mistake, Real Life Hero thought.
He shot the shooter from behind and killed him, taking over his spot.
From here he spotted another shooter in the sea. He took two good shots before having to reload. The shooter was having a gun fight with a second shooter, a blue banana-man, hiding inside a nearby building.
Real Life Hero aimed at the banana-man just as banana-man managed a final shot on the first shooter by the sea. Real Life Hero launched a rocket at the building but he got hit.
He changed positions, hiding in the tall grass nearby. Here he spotted banana-man running coverless on the opposite hill. He fired and hit him. A few more shots and banana-man was eliminated.
After a brief pause where all shooters remained in hiding, Real Life Hero spotted another one looting the beach. He shot at him with his rifle. The shooter, wounded, hid in the sea froth as Real Life Hero reloaded his gun. Real Life Hero fired a couple more shots and the shooter was dead. But he too was hit.
All this shooting had exposed his position and he was now half-dead. He moved out and ate a few berries to regain his strength. The storm was approaching and bullets were flying past him. He was the target now.
He sprinted towards the sea to be inside the safe zone and built cover. Damn flies kept bugging him under the hot sun, his boots sinking in the sand every step he took.
The shooter fired at his cover, knocking down the side wall. At least now Real Life Hero knew where to look for the unspotted shooter. He barely saw him standing on the hill across the sea as the warm blood trickled down his neck. Real Life Hero was dead.
Until tomorrow.
