Real Life Hero climbed up the roof of the flying bus and looked around. Small islands scattered around a vast sea. He would need a ship and everlasting hope to escape this doomed mad land.
He jumped off the bus and guided his Tentacle Spider parachute on top of a tall boulder. His feet sounded heavy as he landed on a steel container. He emptied two chests and smashed the containers with his sword.
The steel was hard to cut through and was taking a long time. Enough time for another killing-obsessed human to spot him. Real Life Hero got hit in the arm, losing some of his strength.
He grabbed his burst rifle and looked through the scope. The target was so far away it was hard to spot at first. When he did spot him the target looked like an ant. Aiming wasn’t as easy under the circumstances but Real Life Hero fired. Some shots missed, most landed.
The target was eliminated.
Real Life Hero zip-lined down to the next rock, landing on the gray-tiled roof of a house. He smashed a piece of it and dropped in the living room. He picked up anything of use and jogged outside to explore the area.
He spotted two humans moving about a bit farther away. He took out the rifle and started shooting. Moving targets weren’t easy to hit, but he managed a few good shots when one of them took a breather before running away.
After that incident Real Life Hero realized he needed to find a lot more bullets if he were to survive this time.
Once on the ground he crossed the river and jogged to a crater where he had spotted a chest. No bullets. He moved farther away to search the ruins but still no luck. He had to venture to the town hidden among the desert rocks.
He was jogging towards the town when he saw a human on the hill just ahead. He was building walls as cover, but they covered only one side.
Real Life Hero stopped. He took out his rifle, aimed and fired. A few shots in and his target was eliminated. There were a lot of good guns his target had left behind, bullets too, but before he could make a choice the walls smashed into pieces and he was thrown off the hill.
When he looked, he saw a tank. It was coming straight for him. One shot from the tank and Real Life Hero was already half-dead. More shots. He sprinted up the hill.
A little bit more and he would jump over the barbed wire and he would be out of sight. But no luck. Another shot hit him on his back. He was dead.
Until tomorrow.
